Change Of Leadership Style At The Start Of The Class
Change of Leadership Style At the start of the class, I have already developed dominance leadership style that focused on accomplishing results, the bottom line and confidence. During my undergraduate study, I am always the team leader and insist achieving the teamââ¬â¢s goals together. I am the kind of leader who always make sure to let team members offer their thoughts and ideas all the time. I am quite emphasis on corporation because I believe noncooperation can lead to an overall failure to achieve the teamsââ¬â¢ goal. To make sure that everyone can contribute to the team, I keep giving everyone a chance to participate and come up with their ideas at any time. Besides, it is necessary for me to set up a clear process for team members to share ideas. I always believe that the most effective leadership style is the leadership style that consists of the leader sharing the decision- making abilities with group members by promoting the interests of the group members and by practicing equality. When I am the team leader, I mainly focus on six traits: Honest, competent, forward- looking, intelligent, straightforward and broad- minded. All team member should be honest with each other. If anyone couldnââ¬â¢t come to the group meeting, you can tell us the reason of absence. But we wonââ¬â¢t accept the lie.
